Western Electric rose pink 155SPS. "The Beauty Parlor Phone" This is a rather unusual model. Like many other times over the years Western Electric took obsolete phones and converted them into something useful. Many original 50G (2 piece) type paystations were retrofitted and fitted with handsets. This model adds that and a lot of flexibility in movement. It also eliminates the need for a subscriber set. The paystation is mounted to a 139A table or counter mount and a color matching 5302 desk set is wired to it. Note the special 2 piece drop down bracket that accommodates the iron casting of the upper housing.
